Union training camp location revealed

The Philadelphia Union will spend the first part of the pre-season trainng at the Bryan Park Soccer Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina, according to an article in the News & Record. Bryan Park boasts 17 Bermuda Grass Fields and a 3,000 seat stadium, according to the Greensboro soccer club’s website.

The team will also play an exhibition match against the 2009 College Cup semifinalists UNC Tarheels on February 13 at Macpherson Stadium. The match is open to the public. Tickets cost $15 and are available here.

    The biggest reason I come here is that you report on so much more than the other sites. No on has mentioned anything about training camp. The other sites might have a highlight video of Mwanga, but they don’t comment or anything. I appreciate this! Keep it up.

    Thanks for the kind words Arkose, and thanks for the comments over the past few days. I really appreciate the input.

    It would be remiss of me, however, to not point out two other great sites for the Union: the ASN Union page and the Philly Soccer Page. Both are pretty on top of things in Unionland and also run by good people.
